religion-is-naseehah

“The religion is Naseehah (sincerity, advice).” The people said, “To whom?” The Prophet ﷺ replied, “To Allah ﷻ and to His Book and to His Messenger and to the Leaders of the Muslims and to the common folk of the Muslims.” 1

Hadith Explanation: “All Actions are but by Intentions…”

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said,

Surely, all actions are but driven by intentions and, verily, every man shall have but that which he intended. Thus, he whose migration was for Allah and His Messenger, [then] his migration was for Allah and His Messenger; and he whose migration was to achieve some worldly benefit or to take a woman in marriage, his migration was for that which he migrated. 1

The Virtues of Sūrah al-Fātiḥah

There are number of aḥādith explaining to us the great virtue of Sūrah al-Fātiḥah:

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

Allah سبحانه و تعالى said, “I have divided the prayer between Myself and My servant equally and My servant shall be granted what he asked for.” Therefore when the servant says, ‘All praises and thanks are due to Allah, the Lord of the worlds’ (Sūrah al-Fātiḥah), Allah says, “My servant has praised Me.” When he says, “The All-Merciful, the Most Merciful,’ Allah says, “My servant has extolled Me.” When he says, ‘Master of the Day of Judgment,’ Allah says, “My servant has glorified Me.” When he says, ‘You Alone we worship and Your aid Alone do we seek,’ Allah says, “This is between Me and My servant and My servant shall have what he requested.” When he says, ‘Guide us to the Straight Path, the Path of those whom You have favored, not [the path] of those who have earned [Your] anger, nor of those who have gone astray (verse ,’ Allah says, “This is for My servant and My servant shall have what he asked for.” 1
